    Real Ales

    Wye Valley Brewery

     

    Wye Valley Bitter
    3.7% ABV 

    A chestnut coloured bitter, with a delicate hop aroma, leading to a full malty flavour, with a crisp, clean bitter finish.

    HPA
    4.0% ABV 

    A delightful straw coloured ale with a wonderful hop aroma.

    Dorothy Goodbody’s May Queen
    3.5% ABV 

    Amber and brown malts combine with gentle hopping for a dark, full bodied and deeply satisfying mild ale.


    Stroud Brewery

    Budding
    4.5% ABV 

    Champion Beer of Gloucestershire 2006 and 2008.
    Very popular pale ale with a grassy bitterness, sweet malt and luscious floral aroma.

    Stroud Organic Ale
    4.0% ABV 

    Silver at Champion Beers of Gloucestershire 2008.
    A refreshing, golden organic ale with a delicate apple aroma.

     



    Braydon Ales

    Pot Walloper
    4.4% ABV 

    Pot Walloper (Old Wiltshire dialect for a household with a large fireplace for communal cooking) is a ruby coloured beer with rich malty undertones.


    Triple FFF Brewery

    Pressed Rat & Warthog
    3.8% ABV 

    Roast malt aroma with hints of blackcurrant and plum leads to a soft yet full roast flavour, fruit and malt vying with the rounded hoppy bittersweet finish.


    Purity

     

    Mad Goose
    4.2% ABV 

    Brewed with Maris Otter Malt, Caragold and Wheat Malt with Hallertau bittering hops & Cascade and Willamette aroma hops. Light copper in colour with a great zesty hop character with citrus overtone.


    Otter Brewery

     

    Otter Bitter
    3.6% ABV 

    It is a beautifully light and fruity beer with good hoppy bitterness.It leaves a refreshing bitterness which prompts the next gulp. A wonderful, old fashioned, ‘session’ beer. Brewed for drinking with no frills.


    Cotleigh

     

    Tawny Owl
    3.8% ABV 

    A West Country classic, well-balanced light copper-coloured bitter brewed using local malted barley and English whole hops. A subtle hop palate which blends with the sweetness of the malt, to give a beautiful and balanced bitter.

    Golden Seahawk
    4.2% ABV 

    A bright golden coloured best bitter. Smooth and malty with a background of honey flavour offering a refreshing and citrus smooth finish.


    Stonehenge Ales

     

    Pigswill
    4.0% ABV 

    A full-bodied beer, not so bitter, but rich in hop aroma which gives the beer a delightful aftertaste. The warm amber colour is very appealing to the eye.


    Milk Street

     

    Funky Monkey
    4.0% ABV 

    Summer ale boasting as many fruity flavours and aromas as a grocer’s counter. Dry finish with developing bitterness and an undertone of citrus fruit.


    Hop Back

     

    Crop Circle
    4.2% ABV 

    Less malty, thinner mouthfeel with corn smoothness. Very pale beer which accentuates bitterness and flavour/aroma of hops.  Citric, grapefruit and spearmint flavour and aromas. Very palate cleansing.


    Halfpenny Brewery

     

    Four Seasons
    4.3% ABV 

    Traditional straw coloured ale with citrusy aroma.

    Hammer and Tongs
    4.2% ABV 

    Chestnut in colour with a pleasant hoppy nose.


    Wadworth

     

    Lily the Pink
    4.0% ABV 

    A unique blend of golden beer and Angostura Bitters – the original pink from pink gin. A contribution from each pint goes to Breast Cancer Awareness.


    O’Hanlons

     

    Yellowhammer
    4.2% ABV 

    Gold in colour, with a zesty pineapple and banana fruitiness, underlain by a biscuity maltiness aroma. The fruitiness superbly refreshing, fruity and summery palate with a dry and bittersweet finish.


    Glastonbury Ales

     

    Lady of the Lake
    4.2% ABV 

    This gorgeous ale has a subtle malty, caramel flavour, yet robust & full bodied bitterness. Aromas of vanilla and fruit.


    Hunters Brewery

     

     

    Crack Shot
    3.8% ABV 

    Delicious, easy drinking pale bitter. This is an all round drinkers pint that is nice all year round. All you lager drinkers beware – this one will convert you and you will never go back!

    Full Bore
    8.0% ABV 

    Bloody strong pint but surprisingly fresh taste. This ale is produced with Devon Honey and is a really lovely pint. Full Bore is the same recipe as Half Bore but double the strength.

     



    Ciders

    Ashridge

     

    Traditional Devon Cider
    6.0% ABV 

    An easy drinking fruity (medium dry) cider with great depth of flavour.


    Skinners

     

    Press Gang
    4.8% ABV 

    The new still, medium cider is 4.8% ABV and is described as light and refreshing with the delicate aroma of ripe apples.


    Thatchers

     

    Heritage
    4.9% ABV 

    Heritage is a popular, traditional cider – it really looks and tastes like a ‘proper cider’ but you’ll find its light touch and balanced flavours offer a drink that appeals to all comers.
    This really is a drink that reflects Thatchers expertise in crafting fine cider.


    Mr Whitehead’s

     

    Blackberry Cider
    4.0% ABV 

    Infusing blackberries in a medium sweet cider gives it a nice maroon colour. Tastes exactly as it should but without the crumble or custard


    Sandford Orchards

     

    Scrumpy
    6.5% ABV 

    Slightly cloudy and full flavoured. A traditional cider, full apple flavours, with a pleasant bite and finish. Fermented straight from fresh apple juice with wild yeasts this is proper cider.
